Gospel: Luke 19: 1-10
We hear in today’s Gospel about Zacchaeus. Jesus spoke to Zacchaeus when he was on his way to Jericho. Zacchaeus realized that what Jesus was saying was for him. He understood that Jesus meant that he should change his life. Zacchaeus knew that although he wasn’t far from following Christ there was room for improvement. If you read the last part again from Luke’s Gospel, in the first ten verses Zaccheaus tells the crowd and Jesus all the ways that he is going to improve. I have me own list of ways to grow in grace. I am thinking about many ways I could improve. Maybe you will see a new message for yourself in Zaccheaus’ story.
Heavenly Father, walk with me and remember my need for your grace as I reflect on your goodness.
