The feast of Epiphany reminds us that Jesus the Son of God was given to us as a gift. Epiphany means “God is with us”. We are called to be Christ to each other in our everyday lives. Let us move out of the Christmas Season into our ordinary time knowing that Jesus is a gift. Gradually we will share that gift with each other as we continue to grow into the Body of Christ.
Lord, may this year’s celebration of the Epiphany help me be more aware of others in my everyday life. May I take time to recognize the good that is around me and to appreciate your work. Amen.
