The Feast of the Epiphany is the day of our founding. Little did we know the thousands upon thousands of people of God we would serve these one hundred and sixty nine years. These people and those they also came into contact with are the body of Christ our founder envisioned when she came to this little town in the middle of nowhere Indiana. Today we still follow that vision of witnessing to the reality that God is alive and well in all people on this earth, and we take that responsibility to heart every day of our lives.
We stand in prayer today honoring our God on this holy occasion and ask blessing for you, your family and friends. Know we are grateful for you being in our lives and hope you are aware of our thanks for allowing us into your hearts, for you are certainly in ours. May this year bring you much joy and the knowledge that we hold you in our prayers wishing you peace and the understanding that we are all held in God’s hands and loved abundantly by God and by us. Happy feast of Epiphany!
